Hi,

I have created language overrides for the following in the Media Manager, but they don't change the output on the live site:

1. COM_EASYBLOG_MM_ADD_MEDIA - tried to change to "Add Pictures"
2. COM_EASYBLOG_MM_BROWSE_MEDIA - tried to change to "Browse Pictures"
3. COM_EASYBLOG_MM_UPLOAD_MEDIA - tried to change to "Upload Pictures"
4. COM_EASYBLOG_MM_EMPTY_FOLDER - tried to change to "There are no pictures in this folder"

I was able to successfully change COM_EASYBLOG_MM_MY_MEDIA to "My Pictures".

Also, in the Browse Media window, can the "My Media" folder be expanded as default? So that when the Media Manager is opened, all the sub folders are in view?

Thanks

Ian
Hello Ian,

I am sorry for the late reply.
After you have put the language in the language override file, you need to recompile back EasyBlog. Please run this in your browser and see if this issue is resolved. http://www.yoursite.com/index.php?option=com_easyblog&compile=1&minify=1

Hope this will help.
Thanks.

Hello Ian,

I have helped you fix the issue with language overrides for Media Manager. Can you verify this for me is this issue is resolved?

Regarding your second inquiry, "Browse Media window, can the "My Media" folder be expanded as default?", I am really sorry but we are actually quite tied up with our own internal development and we wouldn't be able to assist you with these customizations right now If this is a priority, please do post them on our sales section at https://crm.stackideas.com and our sales department would get back to you with a proper quote.

Hope this will help.
Thanks.

Hi,

Thanks for your help with the language overrides. Your changes have taken affect, but I still can't make any new overrides. Can you tell me how you fixed the issue so that I can make more overrides? For example, I can't change "Select blog image", or any of the new overrides I have made (e.g. "Browse Pictures).

Cheers

Ian

Hell Ian,

I am sorry for the late reply.
Actually, the media manager page is using Javascript and in order for the changes to take place is you need to recompile the JS in your site. Can you try follow these two steps:
1. Make the language changes.
2. Run http://www.yoursite.com/index.php?option=com_easyblog&compile=1&minify=1 in your browser.

If this issue is still persist, perhaps you can provide us with language strings which you want to change. So, we can help you change it for you.

Please be advise.
Thanks.

Hello Ian,

Have you run the compile JS after you done the changes? By the way, can you re-provide the access to your backend and FTP?

Hi,

I'm trying to change the text in the media manager for another site I am working on - dev.teenstreet.org.au, but every time I try and run http://www.dev.teenstreet.org.au/index.php?option=com_easyblog&compile=1&minify=1 in my browser I get this error: No HTTP response from server.

And the text doesn't change in the media manager.

How can I run the compile js myself successfully? I don't want to keep bothering you with this problem:)

Thanks

Ian

Hello Ian,

Please replace the attached file in: ../media/foundry/3.1/libraries/closure.php and run the compile again. If this doesn't work, you can provide us the other site backend and FTP access.
