If this is considered a customization, I apologize.

I'd like to change the text in the rating function. It currently reads, "rate this article" and I'd like it to say something else like "rate this video" or "rate this content."

Is that possible? Can someone point me to where that might be?

Thanks!
Hello Ryan,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. You can alter this text by editing the language file located in /language/en-GB/en-GB.com_komento.ini

Thanks for the assistance! I found that file, but I can't find that language anywhere in that file.

Down in lines 1209-1011 I see options for enabling the ratings, but I still don't see the label information.

I tried searching for the exact phrase I want to change, "Rate this article" and it doesn't seem to be in this file.

Again, thanks for your help!

Hi Ryan,

Alternatively you can maybe try to change the text via the language manager in Joomla.
extensions --> language manager --> overrides
Select new, in the search field type in the text that you want to change.
if it can find the text it will pop up and you can make changes to the text. It then automatically creates an override file. Which is saved also when you install updated versions.

I always use this functionality to change text in Easysocial and easydiscuss, I don't see a reason why it shouldn't work the same for Komento.

Hope this helps.
