Hi,
i had a komento free.
Today i've updated to the pro.
Now i have the old comments without rating.
Is there a way to set a rating on the old comments?
Thanks a lot
Best regards
Hello Tony,

Hm, not too sure what you mean. You mean you updated to the Pro version and the rating is gone? That should not be the case because the data will remain in tact when you upgrade.

Hi Mark,
I mean that the free version does not have the rating system at all. So, all the old comments made with the free version have not the stars.
Now, the Pro version has the rating system and the new comments have the stars.
Is there a way to put the stars, manually by myself, in the old comments?
Thanks

Hello Tony,

Ah I see. Unfortunately there's no way to manually input these "ratings" from the articles into the comments because the rating system is different altogether.

The rating in Komento is per comment basis as opposed to the ratings in the article. Anyone could rate an article without leaving a comment but if you want to rate the article in Komento, you need to post a comment first.

Hi,
at list is there a way to modify the number of the stars?
I mean if a user was wrong and want to change the stars he's given how can he does?

It is actually done on the comment itself. The only way to add value to a rating of an article is by posting comments

Maybe i don't understand.
i've asked you how to modify the stars. For example if you give me 3 stars and you are wrong, maybe on the second moment. What can you do to give me, for example 1 star?
If i use the edit i can't.
So i suppose it is not possible to modify the number of the stars; isn't it?
What do you mean with "It is actually done on the comment itself" ? The stars are out of the comment.

The rating in Komento is tied to the comments. Each comments has a rating. If the total rating is 5 / 5, and if you have 10 comments, then all 10 comments must have 5 stars for each of them.

Hi,
i'll give up. You don't understand me and i'm not be able to explain to you better.
But never mind, I've found a solution by myself.
I can modify the database on
jhost_komento_comments
By this i can add stars or modify the value on each comment.
Thanks a lot
Best regards
