Hi,
I want to limit the number of blogs shown on the frontpage of my blog to appr. 7. Currently it is showing 20 entries, which is too much as I can see it effects loading time of the page.

I am using "Magazine" currently as menu link.

Where can I configure this? I was looking everywhere, maybe I am blind.

Thanks
Hey Alex,

Try manually adding it into /language/overrides/de-AT.override.ini

Hi there,

You can configure them on the menu itself as you can see here http://take.ms/YUFQU. Please give it a try and see how it goes.

If problem still persisted, it would be best if you can check your current access credentials as i am not able to access them currently.

Please advice.

Hi, yes, the blog is not public yet, I need to give you a new access. How can I send you the super user details. Can you give me an eMail? In my account details, there are already other access details.
Cheers, Alex

Hi, me again, FYI:

I added the site credential in the SITE DETAILS under ADDITIONAL DETAILS.

And I also just purchased an additional license for this page because its already clear that i will keep the new blog SW, as it rocks!

In the meanwhile I published the blog and it turns out that now as it is published in the menu, also the magazine and number of articles is shown correctly!

One point, I want to ask anyway: where can I translate the text RECENT NEWS?

I have installed the German version but it is still in English.
I also canĀ“t find a language override for it.

Thanks

Hey Alex,

Thank you for updating us on this and thank you for your continuous support! As for the translations, you can edit the language file /language/de-DE/de-DE.com_easyblog.ini and search for the text COM_EASYBLOG_RECENT_NEWS

I do not have the German language file installed locally but in the English language, it states this:

[gist]
COM_EASYBLOG_RECENT_NEWS="Recent News"
[/gist]

Thanks found it. Hoped there woule be the option to do it with overrides. I guess with the next update, the change in the ini-file will be overwritten?

Thanks Alex

Hey Alex,

Yep, you could easily create an override file in /language/overrides/de-DE.override.ini and pasting your string there Alternatively, you can follow the guide at https://stackideas.com/docs/easyblog/administrators/how-tos/how-to-create-language-string-override

This is what I tried first, but it doesnt work as this constant cannot be found in DE-AT language file.
