When I created a new blog I assigned my 2 categories News and Events.
This blog received a link http://www.domain.com/news/entry/thisblog;
However, this blog really should be only assigned to Events category, I removed this blog from News. This didn't change to http://www.domain.com/events/entry/thisblog. Can I somehow force this change?

Btw, how can I change my permalink to simple url format? I can see descriptions of the formats but no actual option to change it.
Which menu layout of EasyBlog did you create for both your menu items? If you strictly want it to inherit the category menu alias, then do the following:

1. Create a menu item that links to the "Frontpage Blog Layout" with the alias as "blog".

2. Create another menu item that links to the "Single Category Layout" with the alias of "news" and configure this menu item to only display items from the "News" category.

3. Create another menu item that links to the "Single Category Layout" with the alias of "events" and configure this menu item to only display items from the "Events" category.

Hope this helps.

Yes, I created News and Events as a top menu links associated to categories "Frontpage Blog Layout" with selected by each corresponding category.

Do you mean Events and News should be created under Blog category link? I would like to keep Events and News at the top menu...

thanks

You need to change the menu type to "Single Category Layout" for both your menus that you have created.

As I stated before I can't select any of these options. They don't exist on my SEO page.

This is so strange, because we can see the checkbox. Can I know are you using same credential as you give above?

Well, apparently my Chrome browser is playing tricks on me. Since mainly I use chrome I assumed that it was a problem on my server.
I checked now different browsers and chrome on another computer and apparently I can see these options too.

Thank you for taking your time.
