Hi,
I am running jomsocial, and easyblog and Alpha user points (all latest versions at the time or writing).
I wish to locate the language file so that I can change the message that is displayed which shows the action and points rewarded ( by AUP) on the jomsocial activity stream when a user writes, or edits a blog post.
If you see my screenshot attached - I need to change the text 'Action: 'Easyblog write new blog'

Hopefully you can you assist as I'm getting nowhere with the jomsocial support.

thanks,
Tom.
Also I am not able to do this using the joomla language override function.

Hello Tom,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

After some time of debugging, it seems like the rules for AUP does not following any of the language file. Instead it following the words directly from the backend > Alpha User Points > Rules > Choose the rules (For example easyblog write a new blog) > Rule name. You can refer my screenshot here for better view, http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-05-08_1225.png

From the above example I changed "EasyBlog Write new blog" to "Write a new blog" and publish some test post. Here is the result on your Jomsocial frontend, http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-05-08_1229.png

Hope these can clarify the issue. If there any issue related with the AUP, I suggest it is best for you to contact AUP support tech since they know best about their components
