Change in POST URL after upgrade to 4.0.0

Hi,

After upgrading, which so far went very smooth, all my posts have changed URL's!!

http://forum.form2content.com/article-templating-show-or-hide-publish-date-depending-on-the-article-options
is now:
http://forum.form2content.com/4317-article-templating-show-or-hide-publish-date-depending-on-the-article-options

How can I remove the number in the SEF url and have my old and INDEXED urls work!? I don't feel like making 4317 re-directs.

Hi there,

You have to enable "Allow unicode alias" at Backend>Components>EasyDiscuss>Settings>Search Engine as shown http://prntscr.com/cqvgrb . Please give it a try and see how it goes

Hi Abdul,

OK i switched this to OFF (i.e. disable) and now the URL's are fine !
