Good morning,

I want to change the maximum file size upload. I tried change the parameter in General Settings - Conversations - Maximum individual file size. Can you see the print screen in attach.

But when I try to upload a file with more than 8MB, I receive an error. In attach can you see where I try to upload the file
Hey,

You will need to check the php settings for the following:

upload_max_filesize
post_max_size

Both of these values needs to be 60M too.

I changed these settings in all php.in files find in the server with these parameters:

upload_max_filesize = 60M
post_max_size = 60M

and after i rebooted the server. But when I try to upload a file I receive the error in attach that indicate the upload limit is 8MB

Hi there,

Maybe you havent checked this settings on your group's category. Please give it a try and see how it goes. If problems still persisted, it would be best if you can provide us with your backend and FTP access for further check on this issues.

Please advice.

Hey,

May I know where are you trying to attach this? Are you trying to attach this in a group? Each group is associated with the ACL of the category. You can edit the category of the group and ensure that the file limit is also set to 60mb, http://take.ms/qKYfT

Hey,

In your screen shot, that isn't actually conversation but that is the story, I am not too sure how to replicate this problem as we would need to test this on your site.

Hey,

For some reason, I can't click on anything again now. Anyway it seems like there is some issue with the uploads regardless of the size. PHP was unable to store the files for some reasons. Let me know when you are back so that I can continue troubleshooting this.

I'm referring about the problem to upload files in sections Files and in the history, because when mark connected to the test server he changed something and after the update 2,1 it works, but not in the production server. In the production server I receive HTTP error when I try to upload big files.

Hi there,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

Currently it is not possible for me to access your teamviewer as you can see here http://take.ms/6EQzsj. And currently, it is past our working hours We only can be free on next monday, on 8 am to 7 pm. Can you schedule them according to our time for us further

By the way, i have one suggestion, maybe you can refer your php.ini between both site, as from what you said, on your test site, it is working, and on your production, it is not. Maybe there are some size you have set more lower than what you have set on your test site. It should be some limit you have set much lower.

Please advice.

After checking on your site, it seems that all folder are not writable. Maybe you can change them to writable first and see how it goes. Please advice.

I don't understand why the folders results not writable for Joomla because the windows access permissions are setted in Full control for all users (can you see in attach).

Do you have an idea?

Hey,

I think it's the way PHP + IIS is being setup on the server. The permissions are probably not mapped correctly

Hi there,

I might be you have configured them http://take.ms/xeUSy wrongly as maybe your site, detect wrong folder. Maybe you can check them whether it is correct folder or not. Or maybe you can provide us again with your teamviewer for further check on this issues.

Please advice.

The temp folder is configured correctly.

Now the right in the folders are correct without other changes, I think that they did not correspond for some cache. The important is that now this point is resolved (in attach can you see the print screen).

With the Chrome debugger I saw that the max_file_size is not setted correctly (in attach you can see the print screen).

But the Group maximum fille allowed and the php.ini are correctly congirated (in attach the print screen).

And if you want you can connect connect with TeamViewer (in attach the credentials).

Thank you very much

Hi there,

It seems that i cant access them as you can see here http://take.ms/DPP7V

By the way, maybe you can check on post_max_size whether you have increased them accordingly or not. Need to make sure you restart them in order for them to take place(to make it works). Please advice.

Hi there,

It seems that i cant upload any files as i hit this COM_EASYSOCIAL_EXCEPTION_UPLOAD_NO_TMP_FILE and it meant that it cannot detect your current tmp folders and it is not writable. Please give it a check first and if those issues solved, let us know, we will continue check on this issues.

Please advice.

Hi there,

Sorry for confusion caused above. Based on your current attachment, it is referred to groups. For groups, you need to change it own apps, that is Files(groups) as shown http://take.ms/JOoOv

Please give it a try and see how it goes.
