Hello,

I see that in Notifications I can change email templates. This is the only way?
I can't see a preview?

Thanks,
Jose
Hello Jose,

Yes, you can change the template and we are sorry, the only way you can see the preview is to regenerate the email. Means here, you have to make it send a notification and check the template in Backend>Easyblog>Mail Pool. You might want to turn off all the notifications except Notify Admin. So, the users will not get the notification while you testing it.

Ok. To regenerate the email I need to create a new post right?

What file I need to change, email.blog.new.html.php or email.blog.new.text.php?

Hello Jose,

Yes, you need to create a new post to regenerate the email. You can use these files email.blog.new.html.php and email.template.html.php to customize the email template.

Hope this will help.
Thanks.

Another question, where's come from this value: "New Blog Post"

I see that text in the email notification that I received. I search the file es-ES.com_easyblog.ini but I don't find that text.

Hello Jose,

The one with the .html prefix simply means that this is a html based email as opposed to normal text. As for the "New Blog Post", I am not really sure where are you referring to here. Can you please provide a screen shot of the area that you are referring to?

Hello Jose,

I am sorry for the late reply.
You can find this string in this file: \language\en-GB\en-GB.com_easyblog.ini .
COM_EASYBLOG_NOTIFICATION_NEW_BLOG_POST="New Blog Post"

If you have anymore question, please don't hesitate to ask us.
Thanks

Ok. That's right. But in the spanish version (es-ES.com_easyblog.ini) that entry does not exists.

Can I copy and paste that entry to the spanish file?

Hello Jose,

I am sorry for the late reply since our internet access was giving up on us this morning.
Regarding your issue:
But in the spanish version (es-ES.com_easyblog.ini) that entry does not exists.
Do you mean by this language string doesn't exist in this file? If true, you can copy and paste it there. Please give it a try and see if this do resolve your issue.

Hope this will work.
Thanks.
