Hi!

I want to change the email that sends and receives messages for all notifications/messages and registrations/acitivity.

I can't find where in the settings I can do this. How can I do?

Thank you very much,
Unfortunately we do not have these setting from backend in Easysocial 2 because most of the email provider don’t allow to change their sender email address and most of the time if they change these sender email data, the e-mails would end up in the spam folder when they receive an email then we received a lot of complain of these in Easysocial 1.4, so we decided to remove this setting from backend Easysocial setting.

If you would like to change this, you have to modify this file ->
JoomlaFolder/administrator/components/com_easysocial/includes/mailer/mailer.php

You can refer on my attached screenshot below.

Hi Vincenzo,
EasySocial email templates, you can actually edit them here(http://take.ms/q2S8s).
You can also refer to our guide for manual email template files override.

Hi Raymond,

Sorry, I don't explain well what I want to do. "Only" change the SENDER and RECEIVER , the email address (myaddress@mysite.com instead of generic@mysite.com) that sends and receives all the stuffs.

Sorry for previous unclear message.

Ok

I thought it was possibile to do the same specific for EasySocial and not.

I would like also to deactivate email to Admin (Joomla User Group "Administrator") but I can solve in other way.

Thank so much!

Ehm. No, Wait

This doesn't solve the issue.

I think is related to Joomla User "Administrator".

Yes, we do not have an option to modify these information in Easysocial.

Actually I have a little bit lost here, is it you would like to change your sender email to myaddress@mysite.com?

If yes, it seems show correctly.

If no, perhaps you can share us some screenshot which email address you referring?

Hi Alex,

Well, I would like this:

- Mantain Administrative email for Joomla in info@oukside.com ('cause there are function associated with Joomla messaging that I want to mantain).

- Change Administrative email for EasySocial in me@oukside.com ('cause we can mantaine separated the flux through EasySocial and that through Joomla).

You are most welcome Vincenzo but I strongly suggest that you do not alter the sender details because 99% of the time, it lowers your e-mail score and you will foresee that overtime, your e-mails would land in the spam box.
