Currently we do not have a setting for this, but you can try download my attached file and replace into this JoomlaFolder/media/com_easysocial/apps/user/blog/themes/default/streams/preview.php and see how it goes.

thank you for you fast answer. I was looking for this specific location of the file, but i did not search media folder. So this helps me a lot. However, to show it in 100% it would need some more fine-tuning. Now i am with about 250 px and will see, how this goes on different devices.

You're most welcome, you can add your styling how many width you would like to show in blog stream item, now the blog stream item is always show the image at the top first then only render the intro text.
