While this applies, currently, to EasySocial, I suppose it could relate to any other component that uses date entry and display.

Is there a back-end option to change the date order display? The current layout is day-month-year but I'd like to change it to the United States standard of month-day-year.

If not a back-end option, any idea what files I'd need to override to make this change?
After doing some more digging I noticed the language files have several different format options for birth display. I found what I was looking for under EasySocial>Custom Fields>Workflows.

I marked Mark's response as unsatisfied but in retrospect my question wasn't focused enough to get the answer I was looking for. Mark's reply did indirectly help me find what I needed so I'm pretty content with that. Thank, Mark.

Hey David,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. Most of these are actually dependent on the locale. If you edit the file /language/en-GB/en-GB.ini you would then see these strings
