Hi ,

I am new to EasyBlog. I need help to fix two issues :
1. How I can remove component/easyblog/ from URLs and create alias for URLS.
2. How can I change the easy blog details page (http://50.28.16.215/~grant/component/easyblog/commission-recap-03-26-2019?Itemid=104) HTML.
Please guide me asap.
Hey there,

You must create a menu item of (Posts) Frontpage from EasyBlog https://take.ms/osMbO and enable SEF at the Global Configuration setting. https://take.ms/WTzs2

Can you have a try and see how it goes?

If the issue still persists, can you include your site's access and FTP's access once at http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site so that we can have a better check of it?

Thanks for your reply.

Please follow the below steps to understand the issue. Open http://50.28.16.215/~grant/our-blogs and click on any blogs 'Read More' button when details page (for example: http://50.28.16.215/~grant/component/easyblog/categories/uncategorized?Itemid=104 ). How can I change the URL as well as HTML for this page.

Hey there,

Like I mentioned earlier, you must create a menu item of (Posts) Frontpage from EasyBlog https://take.ms/osMbO

I had created it for you and place it in the hidden menu already.

Now the existing blog post URL has been changed if you access this page http://50.28.16.215/~grant/our-blogs , you will noticed those blog URL already show this URL format e.g. http://50.28.16.215/~grant/easyblog-frontpage/blog-title , if you would like to change this '/easyblog-frontpage' alias name, you have to modify this from your hidden menu item for this "Easyblog - (Posts) Frontpage".

Take note that you manually access http://50.28.16.215/~grant/component/easyblog/commission-recap-03-26-2019?Itemid=104, the URL will be http://50.28.16.215/~grant/component/easyblog/commission-recap-03-26-2019?Itemid=104 because you manually access it.

I am not sure what do you mean HTML for this page here. Can you explain more about it so that we can have a better understanding of it?

By the way, I did notice even Joomla article page also showing the similar styling like Easyblog blog page.

In order to test this, you have to enable this following things :
1. Publish this test article post from backend > Contents > Article (screenshot : https://take.ms/6V6Wt )
2. Enable this menu item under 'Hidden' (screenshot : https://take.ms/1pfGZ )
3. Access this article page from your footer menu item. (screenshot : https://take.ms/jxvkG )

And I noticed that if I go http://50.28.16.215/~grant/who-we-are-submenu menu page, the styling is different and its menu item has SP Page Builder. (screenshot : https://take.ms/rD15H ).

is it you would like to show these similar styling on Easyblog page?
