hi Support,

We updated easyblog to the lastest version 5.2.9 today and we getting an error with one of the certificates of aim4mmedia. Their licence for the following domains is expired:

DNS Name=art.aim4media.com
DNS Name=artwork.aim4media.com
DNS Name=cdn.aim4media.com
DNS Name=cl1.aim4media.com
DNS Name=t1.aim4media.com
DNS Name=t2.aim4media.com
DNS Name=t3.aim4media.com

We see that they are using lets encrypt so normally it would be updated within a day, but as this is already reported a week ago by google it seems there is an issue with this at aim4media. Could you guys inform us about an update for this, we like to keep our customers site free of certificate errors, especially one of a company we don't directly deal with.
Hey there,

For the Easyblog update shouldn't cause your site getting certificate error, may i know where you getting this report? http://take.ms/ZQfJj

My Eset NOD32 gives me that window. Now im not sure if this error has something todo with the specific update but it is a fact that i only get this error when loading the easyblog component on the customers website and not anywhere else on the site. Also checking elsewhere the certificate shows its expired

I think you can identify this issue whether it related with Easyblog or not by disabled Easyblog component from your site backend temporary then re-check the site from different online SSL checker again and see whether still show it's as expired.

Keep us update if the result doesn't show your certificate expire, then provide us with your site backend and FTP access so we can better have a check.

Yes, Easyblog will not handle all these certificate stuff on the server.

Wow, that is great !! Would you mind to share with us which caused this?

So next time if other user ask us similar question about this, we can advise them to check this on their server.

Its was an old tracking script for a remarketing campaign by one of the mediacompanies the customer works with. And it already was removed from all other templates except the one the blog uses, so hence the idea it had something todo with the update.
