Hello support,

I have the following issue:

I have created 3 Categories and split the Posts in 3 years.

I have uploaded every post manually and adjusted the Creation and the Publish date according the year in the Category.

I can not order the Categories in descending way - 2016, 2015 and 2014.

2014 comes first. I´ve been looking in the settings General and Category layout but could´t find the way to solve this issue.

Could you help me please.
(I attached few screenshots)

Thank you!

Best Regards,
Mike
I am not entirely sure which layout are you referring to here. Are you referring to the module? Are you using the category module or the archive module to render on the sidebar?

Yes, I am using the Module - Easyblog - Categories Module.

I couldn´t see an option in the Module to change the order of the Categories.

(That´s why I was checking also in the EasyBlog settings)

Is it possible for you to provide us with the back end and FTP access to your site to check on this issue?

To add your access, simply edit your first post above or head on to http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site to insert your site access once only.

Hey Mike,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. I have checked your site and it looks like the module has been configured to order the categories by "popularity". I have changed it to respect the category ordering as you can see here, http://screencast.com/t/8HByQ8pD6i

It now respects the ordering of the categories as what you wanted
