I assign some tags to each category ... like:
category 1 - tag 1 - default
category 2 - tag 2
category 3 - tag 3
but when I start new post it start as default category ... category 1 with tag 1, then I change post to category 3 , I assume that tags will be associated with category 3 - tag3, but tags stay from category 1
How to fix that?
Thanks
Damir
Hi there,

It seems that i can replicate this issues on our end. I have issued this to our developer and this issues will be included in our next release version. Thanks for your understanding

Hi Damir,

I am sorry for the confusion.

Based in your example, when you said:

but when I start new post it start as default category ... category 1 with tag 1, then I change post to category 3 , I assume that tags will be associated with category 3 - tag3, but tags stay from category 1

Do you mean when you select category3, the tag3 did not auto populate into the Tag section in your composer? Please see http://take.ms/uNy2I

Please advise.

Hi Damir,

Thanks for the clarification. Can you try to clear your web browser cache and see if that help? If problem persist, can you provide us your Joomla site admin access and the ftp account so that we can further investigate your issue?

Please advise.

Hi Damir,

I did consult with Abdul Warith and apparently he mis-understood your original issue. I just tested in my local and I am not able to replicate your issue. When i switch the category, the tags that associated with my category is auto populated into the Tags Section. If possible, I would like to troubleshoot the issue directly as why your EasyBlog did not auto populate the tags when switching the category.

Please advise.

Hi Damir,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply and thank you for providing your site access.

Regarding your issue, look like its a known issue which already fixed in our development server. I've applied the same fix on your site and now tags in category should work correctly. Please see http://screen.stackideas.com/screencast_2017-02-24_11-01-43.mp4
Below is the file I've modified in your site.

JOOMLA/administrator/components/com_easyblog/models/categories.php

The same fix will be included into next release of EasyBlog

Hope this help and have a nice day!
