Category sorting is ignored

I am using the Blog Categories in my sidebar and trying to get it to display the categories in ascending order. I have set this in the module but it is just ignored. I tried sorting it in the backend but I cannot change the values in the sort order column. When i click on the sort icon it doesn't unlock for editing.

So sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I cleared your cache. I have set the order to ascending alphabetically. Please check it out now. Also please note that if you are using Rocketheme templates, you will need to clear your Joomla cache if you make any changes in the backend so that the changes will be reflected. Hope this helps.
