When using EasyDiscuss v4.0.20 the priority isn´t translated to German, its still English. Can that be fixed please?
Hi Tela,

I have tested this locally and it works.

You have to change the priority name to a language constant, then translate this custom lang constant in language overrides.

Hey Tela,

There are no ready translations for post priority names.

Similar to category names, you would have to create your own custom translations as I demonstrated in the screenshot.

can we fix that in a new version? Preferred way here:

- New EasyDiscuss installations will use the a language constant inside the priority list instead the hardcoded english names (old installations could be changed by hand if needed)
- The language constant are part from the official StackIdeas language files

The German translation here would be:

low -> Niedrig
normal -> Normal
Critical -> Kritisch

I normally do not like any own translations as those overwrites tend to cause more issues as they fix stuff

In this case, having language override(for categories/post priority/post types) will not cause issues when updating as the language constant itself is stored in the database.

For example, if you create a new post priority with a language constant and it's stored in the database(http://take.ms/InI2d), new updates will not change the name of that post priority, same with category names.

Actually, if we add translations into the core language files, then it has more risk of being changed in future versions.
