Hello,

I had to change my Joomla start page recently and used the "category list" option to build the new start page since it is able to conveniently list categories along their latest posts on the page. Anyway, the configuration options do not all work. For example I disabled the display of the category image, sub category list and authors yet they are still being shown. How to fix that?

All the best,

Chris
Hey Chris,

The ftp access which you have provided doesn't seems to work Can you please advise?

I updated once again. I can login with those credentials.
By the way, I just installed an update for EasyBlog and now it works. But there are more issues.

First of all, tag display looks ugly now (http://www.fotos-hochladen.net/uploads/bildschirmfotocb8hljqrd7.png).
And second: When creating a new article with the composer in front-end I can not select templates.

Hey Christopher,

Hm, for some reasons the layout seems to be respecting your settings now when I access http://www.gizchina.de/ . Did you do anything recently?

This is actually one of the reasons why we request you to start a separate topic for each of your issues rather than replying to the same thread

Anyway I can't reproduce the "tag layout" issue because when accessing your site at http://www.gizchina.de/news/blackview-r7-alternative-elephone-p9000.html , this is what I am seeing here, http://screencast.com/t/wRntT7wA

As for the post template's not loading when creating a new post, I can't reproduce this either. Please see my screen shot here when I click on the new post button, http://screencast.com/t/5t0koHanG

Try to click on the news or review template and you will see that it does not work. None of my authors can write on the frontend because of that.

Hey Christopher,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is actually a public day off for us here. It seems like the issue is coming from your JCH Optimize plugin. The way it compresses the javascript causes errors. After disabling this plugin, everything seems to be working correctly now.

Jesus, you can't just disable plugins on our website to your liking without asking first. Disabling JCH Optimize has a devastating impact on our server load and site loading time and thus SEO ranking. Rather than that you better tell me which script is causing the error so I can exclude it from JCH Optimize.

As mentioned in my post earlier, JCH Optimize is causing javascript errors on the page which causes the rest of the scripts to break.
