Hm, not really sure if I understand you here. What do you mean by filtered by "date"? Did you mean sorted?

I'm probably not using the correct words. I will go through how we search in screenshots.

When searching I select this subcategory, and search for Outlines





The results list the most recent discussions from all categories that match the search term (i.e. not filtered)



When I filter and search discussions on StackIdeas the results only display the category selected in the drop down. Can this be done on my site?
