I not really understanding your issue. Where exactly do you want categories to be displayed? Perhaps some screenshot would be helpful in understanding the issue.

I want to display the categories in the Archive on the blog webpage. I've attached a PDF that shows the Archive displaying on the right side of the webpage. I want the categories to also show so readers can choose from a category.
