Hi!

I can't seem to find the solution here.

But is there a way for the categories having the same lay-out as front-page?
Right now I use Zinc as front page theme, but the categories doesn't look the same.

Regards!
Hello Christian,

The category layout uses the forums layout and it is different than the "Recent" layout. Do you mean you want to have a layout that looks like the listing at https://www.ictvoorschool.nl/community/forum ?

If that is the case, you could create a menu item linking to the frontpage layout and filter it by category as you can see here, http://take.ms/acfLd

Hi,

This seems to work but when I use the category module, it's still going to the old layout, and not to the fresh made menu.
Is there a way to change the category url or overwrite this template?

Hey Christian,

Unfortunately that was not possible to achieve this is because when you click on the category link from the module, it will actually go to the single category view instead of your menu item which you created.

And I wouldn't encourage to modify the code from the php file, end up you have to manually replace this hack file for future update.
Once you added new category, you have to modify the code again from the php file.
