Hi,

I've been reading the forums and documentation re: implementing captcha-recaptcha in easyblog. Perhaps I've missed it, but I don't seem to find any explanation of how this works. Could you enlighten me? I have public and private keys for the site and have included them in Joomla's back end. Still don't see the captcha pane.

Thanks.
Hello Rich,

Unfortunately recaptcha cannot be used in easyblog login page since easyblog login page is basically following joomla login page.

Hope you understand

Hello Rich,

The captcha option in EasyBlog is actually displayed in the comment form. You should be able to see a new captcha image when submitting a new comment.

OK...I was interested, though, in the login piece. How do I associated captcha with that? Doesn't seem to work.

Hi Rich Carnahan,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

You're welcome, If I'm not wrong, Joomla do not have Recaptcha available in login page.

The new recaptcha v2 is not supported currently in Joomla 3. Will be in 3.4 if I read things correctly.

Hi Rich,

Yeah, I believe so. No CAPTCHA reCAPTCHA is a new feature for Joomla 3.4. Joomla has updated the reCAPTCHA plugin in order to protect your login and registration forms against spam. They still supporting the old reCAPTCHA v1.0. For further reading please go here.

Hope this helps.
