Hi

As a Guest I'm offered to enter my comments, but the captcha image is broken.
Even as Registered, the image doesn't show up (when settings is switched on)

Can you pls have a look attached and let me know.

Many thanks
Can you update your site backend and FTP access at http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site so we can better have a check?

Hi Arlex

Thanks for your reply.
Unfortunately I'm under NDA with the client as said yesterday, and I can't share access credentials.

Do you have any updates , patches, or things I can check ?

I've shared the HTML page as PDF, please confirm if you've seen it?

Many thanks

Hm, i would said some of the issue need to troubleshoot from the PHP code file then only possible to figure out what is the issue caused this, that is no easier way to see the issue from the screenshot then know what is the issue caused this, unless that is known issue.

By the way, I did take a look of your current support domain site, it seems like those captcha image did load properly on the page, you can watch my video here : http://take.ms/SeT1I

May i know what is the exactly step to reproduce this issue?

Thank you Arlex

Yes it works on some posts, but not always, that's why I posted this request.
I'll try to find out.

Kind regards,

Hey Alex,

It seems like you have request for different domain to support, perhaps you can consider to upgrade your current license to developer version?

Because Pro license only obtain 1 domain for support, and you did requested this domain for support 'ecusolutions.net' in your previous ticket.

By the way, since your client do not want to provide us with his site login details, that is very difficult for us to troubleshoot this issue.

But you can try this following step and see whether possible to solve this issue :

1. This is what i realised, if you manually access this link -> http://take.ms/KsVWx , it will required you to login.
[gist type="php"]
http://www.fempton.com/main32/start/research-new?task=captcha.generate&tmpl=component&no_html=1&id=292
[/gist]

2. So this is the same case when you access this page http://www.fempton.com/main32/start/research-new , it will required you to login, so can you double check this following menu item as what you created from backend "

- research-new (menu alias)
- new (menu alias)

Make sure these menu item set it to public access.

Or you can try create a hidden menu for "Easyblog - frontpage layout " and set to public access.

Hi Arlex

Thanks for your support.
'research-new' must be for Subscribers only, so I can't set it as Public.
I was wondering why the page holding comments (which is Public), is looking for a page which is not public.

Still not sure why the same page is working in ecusolutions, and it's not working in fempton.

I'll try to find out

Thanks

Can't find it under Config > Comments

You can disable it from backend > Easyblog > ACL > guest and public user group > comment tab > post comment - NO
