I can't seem to find an option to change meta descriptions for Catagories in Easyblog - could you direct me please?
Hey Mike,

You may change this from the SEO section at the back end of EasyBlog, http://take.ms/owVxB

Thank you, that is great. Is it possible to change the meta titles on the particular category page that is generated when a category is created?

Hey Mike,

We do not change the title of the page because ideally, the title of a category page should really just be the title of the category. Changing it to anything else would not be beneficiary in terms of SERP since Google would definitely want to have the title relate to the content.

Anyway, if you really need to customize or tweak the title, you could just create a single category layout menu item for EasyBlog and alter the title in Joomla's menu manager

Ah thank you. That makes sense. (Even)furthermore, I can't seem to find an option to change meta descriptions for tags. My site crawl tool is flagging up duplicate meta descs for Tags pages. Is it possible to change these?

This is why we set the tags page to have noindex by default unless you have disabled it. Most of the time, if your site relies on tags heavily, it would eventually lead to duplicate pages unless you have a unique meta description for every single one of them.

I would strongly encourage that the option is left enabled, http://take.ms/jCBia
