Hello,
i cant activate the modul showcase.
Neither title appears, I've tried multiple positions.
All other works fine.

Hey there,

Can you include your site's access and FTP's access once at http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site so that I can have a better check of it?

Hey there,

It seems that I am getting this error when I was trying to access your backend:

Username and password do not match or you do not have an account yet.

Also, when I was trying to access your FTP, it will give me the following error as well:

Error: Connection timed out after 20 seconds of inactivity
Error: Failed to retrieve directory listing

Hey there,

I am able to access your FTP now.

But, I am still getting the same error when I was trying to access your backend:

Username and password do not match or you do not have an account yet.

I believe the backend access that you provided is incorrect. Can you update it so that I can have a better check quickly as well?

Hey there,

The reason that your EasyBlog showcase module is not showing is because you had set the 'Showcase Source' setting to 'Featured Posts Only' and there is no featured posts on your site at the moment.

I had do a testing by changing it to 'Latest Posts Only' with position of 'right' and it can show the module fine as shown in the screenshot. https://take.ms/fQXEa

Can you try again and see how it goes?

Hey there,

Do you mean 'easyblog-before-toolbar' and 'easyblog-after-toolbar' module position?

If yes, it is already there as shown in the screenshot. https://take.ms/OpaGU

For your information, those EasyBlog module position are already there but those position will not show in the module position option so you need to manually type the position out.

In order to determine what EasyBlog module position available on the page, you need to enable Preview Module Positions first. https://take.ms/uq1KK

Then you can add ?tp=1 after the page URL so that you are able to preview the available module position of the page as shown in the screenshot. https://take.ms/LXE3X

Ok. Thanks understand. I havent find this in the documentation.
I have another question, how can i exclude some moduls in some easyblog categories in easyblog modul positions like easyblog-before-toolbar, The showcase is now viewed on all my pages, but i like too exclude it on some pages.

And is it possible to exclude some modules in non easyblog modul positions like right, left...?

You can not to show the module on certain page by setting the 'Module Assignment' to 'Only on the pages selected' or 'On all pages except those selected' from the 'Menu Assignment' tab of the module as shown in the screenshot for example. https://take.ms/Ql8ht

Easy Blog is installed under then menu item Blog. When i make new categories in Easy Blog like uncategorised then i can not see this in the menu assignment, and i can not exclude it. So that the modul is visible on all pages.
In the Demo it is so that on the front page its visible the showcase modul and on other pages it is hidden.
with modul showcase:
http://easyblog.stackideas.com/
withhaut modul showcase:
http://easyblog.stackideas.com/to-rebuild-my-life-i-had-to-listen-to-my-gut
i need it it how its in the demo. visible on frontpage, hidden in Easy Blog categories.

Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

You can not to show the module on certain page by setting the 'Module Assignment' to 'Only on the pages selected' or 'On all pages except those selected' from the 'Menu Assignment' tab of the module as shown in the screenshot for example. https://take.ms/Ql8ht

Also, I am really sorry that I miss out one point that you need to create (Categories) Single Category menu item for each of your categories first so that you choose 'Only on the pages selected' then just uncheck the categories menu item that you don't want the showcase module to show up on it as shown in the screenshot from the quote for an example.

Can you try again and see how it goes?
