Hi,

i have a problem with canonical link and the link that easy blog automatically generate for my categories !
i have created a custom link with custom alias for every single category that i have in EasyBlog.

for example in this link : https://www.apple-nic.com/newsroom/apple.html

the blue text on the post black side box that returns the category link must be in format of this link : https://www.apple-nic.com/newsroom/apple.html
(the Newsroom/apple menu type is easyblog single category type)

also in my page source the canonical link is like this: https://www.apple-nic.com/blog/categories/41-apple.html
it has to be like this : https://www.apple-nic.com/newsroom/apple.html

All of my categories has its own google rate !
and changing the canonical links format from this : https://www.apple-nic.com/newsroom/apple.html
to this: https://www.apple-nic.com/blog/categories/41-apple.html
can really damage my google rate

at last i want the canonical link to be the link that i create inside my joomla menu.
and i don't no which but one of the easybog updates has change this ! :-(

Please advise,
cause this is very critical for my website !

thanks
Hi
i am using "Use Specified Menu Id'' in configuration SEO
and after change it to Default mode, Category link change to joomla menu alias that i created for categories
but all the post links changes to this format:
site/menucategory/ttile
instead of this format :
site/Specified Menu Id/title

How can i use "Use Specified Menu Id'' in setting and have my own joomla menu alias structure for categories ?

Perhaps you can try change your 'Use Routing From' to use Author Menu, so it will fall back to use /blogAlias/blogtitle when you access your existing blog post.

But this only apply on routing behavior Default mode.
