Hello Team,
we have latest verision of EasyBlog 5.0.22 with Joomla 3.4.3 and we desperately tried to upload images via Menu Add media and tried via drag and drop as well as via standard method and file selection. But nothing works and no indication that something happens in the background (progress bar). We tried with Safari and FireFox on a Mac but no success.
This did not work with 5.0.21 either.
Hey Markus,

I am sorry that delay of this reply,

Can you provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can help you check on this?

Before you provide us with your detail, can you check with your Webhosting provider is it have installed GD Library php in your server yet?

Hi Arlex,

I have no idea what happened - but now it worked fine and I was able to upload images.
Maybe one difference... I have only cleared the cache on EasyBlog in Backend and it worked.
Was this the trick ...? I cannot say.

Otherwise this issue is solved for me.
But I will need to raise a new one instead for another major problem with autoposting from emails - does not work at all

Hey Arlex,

now as we are on EasyBlog Version 5.0.30 we again cannot upload any image anymore.
It does not work on Frontend and not on Backend.
We tried with Safari and Firefox on a Mac and even clearing cache does not help at all.

Site access provided.

Unfortunately I cannot provide you FTP access as we have decided to not allow FTP access on our server and we have not even installed a FTP server.
So therefore in Joomla Backend you can use component extplorer.

Hey Markus,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply,

I've tried to inset a image block in the blog composer, but it seems work fine for me, you can take a look of my test post -> http://www.replaceYourSiteDomain.com/index.php/easyblog/entry/test-post-1

Can you give it try again? if the issue still persists can you provide us step by step how to reproduce this issue?

Hello Arlex,
thanks another time for the support and test.
It is very strange on what the conditions are that image uploads are sometimes not working.
When I cleared the Browser caches and also cache on Backend it worked and I was able to upload an image.

I will need to monitor this now for some time and will then try to find the patterns and report it back to you and hope I can provide a real reproducible test case. So far it is really intermittent.

HI Markus,

Thanks for the heads up on this one. It seems like everything after you upgraded EasyBlog to newer version, your web browser still loading the old javascript files hence clearing your web browser and your Joomla cache might you on next time you upgrade your EasyBlog

Hope this help and have a nice day!
Sam
