I am having a similar issue. Trying to update from EasyBlog 5.0.34 pro to 5.0.42 pro. First I get a message that I have to update the launcher, so I uploaded the 5.0.42 launcher and ran setup again. No joy. I have tried with both the launcher 5.0.42 launcher and with the full version. See attached images. Is there a fix for this?

May i know do you have download full installer from https://stackideas.com/dashboard then upload through your backend > extension > manage > install > process Easyblog installation > click next until select "install from directory" method > select the component package > click next for continuous install, is it this still not work for you?

If yes, can you provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access at http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site so we can better have a check?
