I have updated my Easyblog subscription but when I go to Easyblog updater on my site it stalls on 20% and says:
MD5 checksum for downloaded file does not match ...

What can I do. My account gives me 3 download options for the updated Easyblog - not sure which one to use. Will manually updating Easyblog delete my previous posts?

Thanks

Ian
Hello Ian,

Regarding your issue, are you attempt to upgrade your EasyBlog 3.9.x to EasyBlog 5.0.25? If yes, then you cannot use the auto updater from EasyBlog 3.9. You will need to download the new installer from our stackideas.com and currently there are 3 installer. If your site has large max_post_size ( atleast 25MB), then you can download the 'full' installer. Or, you can download the launcher installer so that during the installation, you can choose to download the core files remotely My advise is to try the launcher installer first

Will manually updating Easyblog delete my previous posts?

Manually upgrade your EasyBlog will not delete your previous blog posts

Hope this help and have a nice day!
