Cannot switch to Full registration on landing page

Hi Team,

I try switching from Simple > Full registration on the landing page (Dashboard) in [Settings>Registration>Mini Registration - Mode: Full] , however it seems do not have any effect. Please advise if I have done anything wrong?

I tried below action before reporting my issue:
- Tried to turn ON/ OFF the JFBConnect option
- Tried to reinstall (overwrite) 1.2.7 with installer
- Tried turn ON/ OFF for the lock down mode

I remember it works last time I installed this UAT environment; (I am testing under the 2nd UAT environment), but this time I didn't do the Jomsocial (3.1.1x) migration, and I leave only 1 Profile Type (the default Registrated User).

Do I need to have more than 1 profile type to get it work?

Hi,

If you want to point the link to full registration and do not want to show the fields in the quick registration, then go to EasySocial -> Profile Types -> Select Profile (based on what you've set in the mini registration settings) -> Custom Fields, and set all the field to not appear in "mini registration".

Recaptcha field comes with EasySocial by default. You will need to go to EasySocial -> Applications -> Recaptcha and fill in the keys. Then you will need to go EasySocial -> Profile Types -> Select Profile -> Custom Fields and add recaptcha in to the form.

Hi,

The "mode" only specifies what the quick registration should do. Setting the mode to full means that the quick registration form will then take the user to the full registration page. Setting the mode to quick means that the user will be registered directly without completing their profile.

Hi Jason,

That means I cannot switch the Mini-Registration box to only a button with [ Register ] with intro text ? (I remember I saw this layout once), or this version 1.2.7 allows user to fill in basic details in the mini-registration box first, and confirm they can get the account immediately (with Quick) and be taken to the full registration form (with Full); am I correct?

Further, I want to know if I need to install the app "reCaptcha Field" to enable registration re-captcha check?
