Hello,

It seems that selected tags cannot be saved from iPhone (both on QuickPost and normal Composer).
Is it working on your end?

P.S.
I'm testing as a frontend user who are not allowed to create tags.
This user can select from existing tags, but when saved the post, tags were not saved.

Thanks,
Rikao
Currently I do not have any iPhone device to test on this, but I tested in my locally, it seems work fine in Android phone.

Regarding that tag issue, can you check my attached screenshot below and see is it show like this when you select the tag during the existing tag suggestion?

By the way, I will test this again on iPhone device at tomorrow morning.

It seems like I can replicate this issue can't add tag from the quickpost area if using iPhone device, i will log this issue into our issue tracker.

The issue is actually when you type something, that iPhone keypad didn't allow you click "Ok" button so that is unable to add the tag into the quickpost when you click submit.

But it work fine when i add tag into composer page using iPhone device.

Hi Rikao,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

Regarding this issue, today I try to replicate the issue with Iphone but I cant seem to be able to reproduce this issue. I can select the existing tags ( the user I am using do not have the create tag ACL) and the selected tags are saved correctly to the blog post.

Can you update your original post and provide us your site credential so that we can try to replicate this issue from your site?
Please advise.

Hi Sam,

Thanks for your reply.
I've updated the site credentials.

I tested again, but still frontend user (who does not have the create tag ACL) cannot save the tags from iphone.
He can select existing tags, but they are not reflected into the post.
Neither in QuickPost nor Normal composer.

If signed in as super user who has the create tag ACL, there is no problem selecting and saving tags.

Thanks,
rikao

Hi Rikao,

Thank you for updating the login credentials.

Regarding your issue, I've added a fix on your test site and now tags saving should work correctly.
Please verify again

Below are the file I've modified in your test site.

JOOMLA/administrator/components/com_easyblog/tables/tag.php

The same fix will be included into next release of EasyBlog as well.

Hope this help and have a nice day
