One of my registered users was trying to make a post in our Group Hikes Blog but was unable to submit the post. This is his concern:

"There seems to be a technical problem with the blogs feature. I tried to post the Rouge Valley hike this afternoon, but the website would not let me save any content or publish the post. Basically I was able to type or paste any info inside the dialog box, but whenever I clicked the green "Publish post" tab nothing happened.

I also tried all the other tabs at the foot of the box, incl. "Preview post", "Save for later", and "Apply", but once again nothing happened. I am also unable to use any of the blue tabs above the dialog box, i.e. "Embed video", "Add cover", "Add location", etc."

Could you see if you can find what settings are wrong -everything seems ok to me.
Can you provide us with your FTP access regarding with your torontohiking site?

You can edit your first post and put your FTP details into that optional information.

By the way. may i know do you have install anything from your site? e.g. extension, plugins and etc.

Hey John,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply,

Can you try temporary disable this `cloudflare-nginx` cache system from your cloudflare server? Because I noticed when open the composer, the page header response from your cloudflare server.

Keep us update once you have done.

In Cloudflare caching level, I set caching level to "No Query" instead of "Standard" and also purged the cache in cloudfalre (purge everything.)

Hey John,

It seems like the issue still persists when you purge the cache from Cloudflare server, can you try following method and see how it goes?

1. Completely disable Cloudflare system temporary and see is it work.

2. Try temporary disable this CloudFlare's Rocket Loader and see is it help.

3. Try set your Cloudflare system to development mode and see is it help.

Keep us update If above 3 method also can't work.

Note : Remember clear your Cloudflare cache and your browser cache before you test once you disable something as I suggested at above method.

Cloudflare's Rocket Loader was already disabled. I put Cloudflare into development mode and was able to post.

One strange thing can be seen in using EasyBlog from the backend and the frontend as you can see in the two attached images where the frontend text in media manager is truncated which does not look good and is confusing for someone trying to post.

Does this mean I can't use EasyBlog with Cloudflare? Sometimes I wonder if Cloudflare is worth all the trouble it can cause.

Hey there,

Thanks for getting back to us that was worked for you.

May i know if you switch on `Development` mode from your Cloudflare server is it will causing different issue?

Based on what i know when you turn on `Development` mode, it still work.

div#fd.eb .eb-composer-viewport-content .eb-mm-place-list label {
width: inherit !important;
}

it seems like your current template override the Easyblog default styling from the label, I have applied some css fix in this following file, it should work fine now.
JoomlaFolder/templates/rt_ambrosia/html/com_easyblog/styles/custom.css

Note : Before you access your page, you have to ensure that you have clear all the Joomla and browser cache.

I turn on Development mode in Cloudflare from the Cloudflare server website but it only lasts for three hours and then reverts to normal Cloudflare mode. So that is not a solution. What can I do?

Would a page rule help, like domain.com/tohi/blogs/* which removes the four blogs from cloudflare?

To be honestly, I never use Cloudflare before, perhaps you can consult with your Cloudflare provider and see is it have a feature to exclude one of the extension do not load Cloudflare?

Keep us update once your provider response you.

I've played around with the Cloudflare settings a bit. Under the Speed tab in Auto Minify, I have unchecked Javascript and left css and html checked.That seems to work with javascript not being minified.
Thanks for your help.
