cannot load videos

when I am trying to download a video for a blog (wmv file), I keep getting this message:
'file not allowed" try again.
the wmv file is 4.16 M only (well below my limit)
I have tried other files, but same result.

Unfortunately, the wmv format is not supported as I've extends this issue to our developers and there are some misleading in the video format caption.
