I am not able to insert images to a post. I click on
- Upload a Media and choose a file from my computer. It appears in the Upload Media window as complete and I can see it on the server in a folder that appears randomly named in images/easyblog_images/xxx where xxx is a number that I didn't create
- When I click on Insert button, nothing happens
- When I click on Browse media I get the message "Unable to get file list from server" in the My Media and Shared Medial folders window
- Clicking on Change upload folder does nothing

I'm lost
Hello Tom,

Sorry for late reply to this,

I have checked in your site and it looks like you have created an index.html file in your document root and this actually has higher precedence than your index.php file. Hence, when the AJAX call is made, it will call index.html file instead of index.php.

By the way, I have help you renamed index.html to index.php, it should work fine now.

The only problem with that is that the index.html page was a under construction page for the website that wasn't ready to go live.

The site was ready to go - we were only awaiting your answer to the problem but, I wish you would have explained it rather than changing the site's appearance to the public before consulting me.

Thank you
Tom

Hello Tom,

I am really sorry for the confusions here earlier. I will place a reminder to the support team to consult you in the future before making any changes on the site.

I wouldn't think it is just me. I can't imagine anyone wanting the fundamental aspect of their entire site being changed without warning. I know the change was made with only my best interests in mind - to solve my problem.
Communication is always the most critical part of any support situation and in future, I will note in my posts whether the site is live or in construction mode.
Thanks Mark.
