Hi
Maybe I am missing something but I cannot seem to be able to HIDE the dates from my posts (Dates is irrelevant for my needs)
I have set to HIDE in menu post settings and in easyblog settings.
Can anyone tell me ALL the switches to change, maybe I have not found the roight one.
I am using easyblog 5 on the wanderers template, so I assume not a template issue?
thanks
Andy
Hey Andy,

I just tested in my locally regarding the Wanderers template, it should work fine.

You need to check 2 thing here : (Do you mean that you would like to disable your `post date` from your blog listing page and blog entry page right? )
#1. Check your menu item - Easyblog (Post) Frontend > set hide 'show post date'
#2 Check your menu item - Easyblog Single category layout (if you have created from your backend menu page) > set hide 'show post date'

If still can't, can you provide us with your Joomla backend access so we can help you check on this?

Hi Thanks

That is sorted now ...

How do I remove/hide

'Subscribe via RSS'

(this link is under the Author Icon when you click on the Author button on menu bar)

I have switched off rss feeds elsewhere so this link goes to 404 page

Where do I find the switch to hide the 'Subscribe via RSS' for authors?

Hey Andy,

This can be configured in the menu. Did you create a menu item which links to the blogger layout?

I solved it by hiding the bloggers completely.

I am now having another problem ... I cannot add any video at all.
No matter what I upload, it takes a while and it appears that it is uploading ... then infuriatingly it says file too big!!!
How can it be with a 15mb mp4 (320x240) .... in what world is that big???

Nothing uploads in the video uploader ... worse part is you think it is working ... then it says at end too big?

Hey Andy,

I am sorry that delay of this reply is because last our reply is around 2.20am, perhaps you can try increase maximum upload file size from your backend > Easyblog > settings > media > general and see how it goes?

If still can't upload the video, can you provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can help you check on this?

Hey Andy,

We're still updating our docs as we speak! At the mean time, if you need help with this, let me know. Also, we just released 5.0.17, you might want to update to this release as it solves quite a lot of teething issues with these "settings".

Thanks support.

While it is stressful trying to get things working as a user, I can see you are working very hard by the activity on this board.

And I am ok to struggle along with you all as it comes together eventually

I think it will be really good when all the issues solved ... keep up the good work!
