Hi,

sorry for asking again for the translation of an expression on my page - the language file of ES is up to date, but I cannot find the missing translation to German for the gender of my users.....

Thanks for your support!
Hello Horst,

Not entirely sure about the German language but in /language/en-GB/en-GB.com_easysocial.ini, you will be able to translate the following strings:

PLG_FIELDS_GENDER_DISPLAY_MALE="Male"
PLG_FIELDS_GENDER_DISPLAY_FEMALE="Female"
PLG_FIELDS_GENDER_DISPLAY_OTHER="Other"
PLG_FIELDS_USER_MALE="Male"
PLG_FIELDS_USER_FEMALE="Female"

Hello,

I've checked your site, even without the language override, the gender translation is working http://take.ms/39sYn

Hi Nik,

sorry for that - the problem is that it is currently not possible to save two site details in customer profile. This means you checked the wrong domain. I added the access data to this post now....

Hello Horst,

I tried viewing your site oggersheim-online.de and it also works without overrides. This is your de-DE.override.ini, http://take.ms/M0i01 which doesn't contain those overrides.

Then, when accessing http://oggersheim-online.de/benutzer , the genders are translated correctly too.

Hi Mark,

I changed the access data to my second domain but it seems to be overwritten....it's still filled with the first one...

Please advice me where to fill in the correct access data to my second domain.

Thanks for your patience.

Are you referring to http://rhein-neckar-aktiv.de/unsere-gemeinschaft/432-dany ? I have edited your override file and the file is now, without any overrides, http://take.ms/7RakK

It seems to be working fine too. This is what I see here, http://take.ms/sTnkA

HI Mark,

yes, you are right - I couldn't get it working yesterday without using the override function.....? Just checked e.g. the profile type in backend where the gender is still not translated....?

Of course it's not a "huge" issue, but I tried to get it working without having success.....

Hi Mark,

really strange - I still see it in English. Just deleted my browser cache, but it's not changing ....

If you check an existing user profile everything works fine - if you check the profile type the it's in English...

Hi Mark,

please check now the profile of this user in frontend - it's again in English. I am sure if you add it again in the override file it works fine again.

Looks like the file /administrator/language/en-GB/en-GB.plg_fields_user_gender.ini exists on the site, it should no longer exist. I have renamed this file and it works fine now.
