Hi, I posted about this a while ago here and was just wondering - has any progress been made on the ability to edit posts without breaking tags?

If a user wants to tag a person or add a hashtag in a post, and it doesn't work properly, they should be able to edit the post without breaking it. If Edit doesn't work and they have to redo the whole post and post again, then the Edit button shouldn't exist and they should have to delete and post again.
As an aside, it's better to have less functionality than broken functionality. Instagram didn't have the ability to edit posts until quite a few years after it was launched. And they did just fine...

Hey David,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply,

We are still working on it and we will see if we can push another new Easysocial version in this week.

Hey David,

It seems like we haven't find a proper way to fix this yet so the next version haven't include this fix.

Perhaps for now I can help you temporary hide that edit option from the stream so user unable to edit their existing stream item until our developer found the proper solution for this.
