Cannot edit Joomla User Fullname in Backend

Hello

When I modify a Joomla User Fullname in backend, the modification is not taken into account.

Note that in frontend, when a user edit his profile, it works.

Hello

It seems to be depending on the user and/or Profile Type... Try with user ID 143 for example (Name is in the About tab). Also sometimes name is not split correctly into First and Last Name (that's the case for this user).

These users were migrated from JomSocial, maybe I'll need to go deeper into how name info is stored in Joomla/ES, processed and displayed... But any help is welcome

Yes indeed, and I tried on many other profiles and it was fine. I'm getting nuts

Anyway there still is the issue on name split into First and Last Name... I'll have to investigate...

No, it is OK (I don't know why it stopped working!).

Just had issues with First and Last Names, in fact I had to insert them myself in SQL in #__social_fields_data table (previously the name field was only a Single Name).

I'll mark this topic as solved. Thanks.
