Cannot edit if you publish an update with a photo

Hello there,

I noticed that I cannot edit my update if I publish it with a photo. I can edit photo but not the text. It should be editable. Could you please check this?

i have the same problem as well kinda weird
same thing happens with shared a link, file, etc etc

normal status messages are editable just anything else isn't please advise us on a fix

Hey guys,

Currently the "Edit Post" on the stream only works for normal "text" status updates.

i currently need this right now.. other wise the product is well useless any advice on a patch to make it happen?

Hello Jeff,

I am sorry but unfortunately there's no quick patch for this and allowing users to edit their photo posts would be quite tedious. We'll see what we can do about this in the future but as of now, there's no quick patch for this.

I want this too, however I am patiently respecting the Stacked team's schedule on this. According to the ES 1.5 roadmap it says "Ability to edit existing stream item". I assume photos are included with this when the time is right.
