Cannot create New Event

Hello

After upgrading Joomla from 3.6.5 to 3.7.3, I am unable to create new events. At step 1, when I click the "Continue" button, nothing happens (button changes but that's all).
In the console, I can see the following JS error: "Joomla is not defined"

I am using an old ES version (1.4.12). I cannot upgrade to ES 2, this is too much work for now, I just need this issue to be fixed.

That was known issue in Easysocial when you update to Joomla 3.7, because Joomla 3.7 they changed different implementation of render the editor on the page, so causing this error.

Perhaps you can consider to restore back to use back Joomla 3.6.5 since you did mentioned in earlier you unable to update to Easysocial 2.x.

Thanks for your answer. I changed the editor to JCE for the Event Description field and now it works.

This is an acceptable workaround for now.

Thanks for updating us on this By the way, you should consider updating EasySocial to the latest version as there are just too many changes on Joomla 3.7.x which may break some other stuffs in the older releases of EasySocial.
