Hello,

If the user has permissions set in ACL i.e. Publisher to manage Authors then this user should be able to change the author within a post. I have even given the user FULL control over easyblog and they still cannot change it. IT would appear you are using the Joomla! ACL for Administrators or above to only be able to change the author. Can you fix this for the next release please.

Many thanks
Tony
Hi there,

May i know more details on how to replicate this? It would be best if you can provide us with some steps or maybe screenshot or maybe video on how to replicate this. Please advice.

We cannot provide access I am afraid.

Issue is simple:

Create a Joomla! User, assign to group Publisher
Edit EasyBlog Permissions set the user to ALL permissions = Allowed
In the Joomla! Global permissions allow backend access = Yes

When they login, go to a Blog post and try to change the author. There is no edit Icon even though Manage Authors = Allowed.

Hi there,

It seems that it is working as it should on my end as you can see here http://take.ms/NVulS. I can edit the authors exactly using steps prompted above.

Please advice.
