If I understand your question correctly, do you mean that registered users can't create tags in the composer?

If yes, the reason they can't is because in registered users' ACL, the 'Create Tags' in Managing tab has been disabled.

In order to allow them to create tags, just enable it and it will good to go. (Kindly refer the screenshot)

thanks for your reply. Yes, this was disabed for EASYBLOG, I enabled this.

But I was referring to EASYDISCUSS. There, when I make a new posting, I cannot add new tags.

Hey there,

It is possible to allow registered users to create new tags in EasyDiscuss.

In order to do that, you can go to Backend > EasyDiscuss > ACL > Registered Users > Tags > enable 'Create New Tag'.

if the issue still persists, perhaps you can update us with your site backend URL so we can better have a check?

the problem still persists, because that was the reason, why i wrote the OP. All possible tag settings, which I know, are enabled, but still not possible to add new tags.

which backend updates do you mean? Regarding the admin-URL: I put this in my first post in the invisible section, it is also in my profile settings.

Hey there,

It seems that you update your EasyDiscuss via the dashboard and there is a known issue that 'Create New Tag' option is not added.

We had insert 'create_tag' into your database manually and now the 'Create New Tag' option is available on your site which is Backend > EasyDiscuss > ACL > Registered Users > Tags > enable 'Create New Tag'.

Can you have a try to see how it goes?
