Hi,
in my Inbox, I have two discussions. If I click on the first discussions, everything is OK. I can read the history.
If I click on the second discussion below, it is not possible to access the history of the discussion.
A user was reporting this to me, and I could replicate this. Pls. find attached the frontend credentials and a screenshot of the INBOX.
This seems to be a bug?

Thanks.
Hey Alex,

Is it possible for you to provide us with the back end and FTP access to your site to check on this issue? You may store your site access at http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site so you don't have to provide these information all the time

Hey Alex,

After fiddling with the site for quite a while, I realize that there is something not right with the copy of jQuery on the site. It has been contaminated somehow by a plugin that is trying to manipulate then links. To fix this, I had to configure EasyDiscuss to render it's own jQuery, http://take.ms/mevMa and it works fine now.

What happened previously was that, EasyDiscuss scripts was trying to prevent any "linking" by preventing default and since it is inheriting the jQuery library on the site, some plugins that are hooked onto jQuery is resetting this behavior.

Thank you Mark - this jQuery is really a pain, seems it is causing problems in so many cases.

Something, I recognized: since this weekend I see that the text for the General Terms is missing, it is not there anymore. Did you change some files as well? Was wondering, why it disappeared. Many thanks, Alex

Hi Alex,

I would like to investigate this but I cannot load the backend(redirects to frontend). The login credentials does not seem to work too.

Please advice. Thanks.

I am able to access now.

Are you referring to this(http://take.ms/rylma)? Currently it is not missing as you can see in the screenshot.

Am I missing something here?

Hi Raymond,
thanks for looking at it. Yes, that is, where the Terms disappeared all of the sudden. I installed the backup of last Friday morning (Vienna time), where it still exist. So I was lucky that I simply could copy and paste it from my backup, otherwise I would have had to make a new one (which would be little nasty, as it is kind of legal text). So it must have disappeared on during Friday or the weekend, but I canĀ“t explain why.
Cheers,
Alex

Hey Alex,

I see. Thanks for updating us. For now it would be best to have a backup of the text in case the issue happens again.

If the issue does happen again, before restoring the backup, do let us know about this in a new thread so we can investigate this before you restore your backup.

I will close this thread for now since the original issue is resolved.

Regards.
