Hi,
I have just tried to upgrade from 5.09 to 5.13 and now my blog doesn't work properly at all.

I had an existing issue with the feed importer in that it os not importing correctly, I had some support with trying to fix this, and downloaded a file provided by Nik in an effort to fix it. It didn't work, then started importing loads of blank (1000+) posts all with the username in the title field.

I decided I had to upgrade to see if it corrected things. I got the above error, so thought clearing out these old blank posts, turning off feeds and deleting them via phpymyadmin (as I couldn't delete them from bog admin) I noticed they where all displaying the word legacy in the database.

I even tried creating a fresh menu link, now the new menu link at least opens the front page, but if I click on any of the blogs I get a white page after some delay loading.

I also had this issue when trying to upgrade to version 11 so reverted back to 9, but it looks like this problem will prevent me upgrading to ANY future version so i have to resolve it.

Please can you help me as this is very urgent!

Mel

More info:

When I checked Google chrome whilst opening the original blog link I get the following error I get this:

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'appendChild' of null mootools-core.js:91

mootools-core.js:91 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'appendChild' of null

When I open a blog in the newly created menu link I get the following error:

Refused to execute script from 'http://www.mysite.co.uk/blog/entry/plugins/system/psbpopupmessages/js/jquery-1.10.2.min.js' because (here it adds one of my blog titles) followed by:

its MIME type ('text/html') is not executable, and strict MIME type checking is enabled.

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'appendChild' of null

I also have the following error:

http://www.mysite.co.uk/media/foundry/5.0/styles/font-awesome/fonts/fontawesome-webfont.woff2?v=4.3.0 Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 403 (Forbidden)

Does that shed any light?

Hi,

I am still trying to fix this, and just tried turning off Joomla's SEF URLs and I am now able to open the original blog menu.

So it seems it something to do with this?

I have to have SEFURLs enabled, so how would I go about getting it to work again as it did before?

May i know did you still hitting this error ? ERROR: 400 UNABLE TO SET AS REVISION AS CURRENT REVISION ON POST.
The reason why you hitting this error is mostly some of the module or extension still loading your deleted blog post data.
If yes, can you provide us with your PHPMYADMIN and FTP access so we can take a look of this?
When I tried to access in your FTP access, I hitting this :
Response:	530 Login authentication failed
Error: Critical error
Error: Could not connect to server

Regarding with your feed importer issues, my colleague still investigate on this.

I have checked in your site, it seems like I only get this error :
http://www.mysite.co.uk/media/foundry/5.0/styles/font-awesome/fonts/fontawesome-webfont.woff2?v=4.3.0 Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 403 (Forbidden)
Can you try consult with your webhosting provider is it got configure to serve woff2 files properly from your server?

I have tried to access in your Joomla backend, but it seems like you didn't set this user account have Superadmin privileges (Check my screenshot below.) so I can't change back to SEF and check for the error.
May i know which error are you hitting if you change to SEF.. please advise.

Hi Mel,

Sorry for late reply to this,

Alright, I will directly check for this 400 error? May i know which URL page hitting 400 error when you turn off the SEF?

By the way, I'm still can't access in your Joomla backend, check my screenshot below.

Perhaps you can create another new account for this?

Regarding this error : ERROR: 400 UNABLE TO SET AS REVISION AS CURRENT REVISION ON POST.
I can't tell you which is extract the table you need to look for, because that was a lot of factor causing this.

HI Mel,

Sorry for late reply to this,

I've tried to access in your Frontend and backend, but still the same.

Perhaps you can create another new account and assign this new user account have SuperAdmin privileges so that we can access it?

By the way, I found a post thread, it seems like my colleague also can't login in your site.

Hi Arlex,

i am not sure what is happening here, are you using all lower case with 01 at end?

I am getting in fine with those credentials.

I have been trying to figure the problem with the 400 error all day, but with no joy.

Sorry for late reply to this,

I can access in your Frontpage and backend now, but when I trying to turn on SEF setting from your global configuration, but i noticed this user account (stack) do not have superadmin privileges so I can't access the global configuration page.
