Hi
Is there a way to selectively define some links as follow or no follow, if I change the setting in the backend does it set all links globally or depending when the link is created it keeps what the setting was at the time? Thanks
Hi Calvin,

Perhaps, you can turn off the 'Insert No-follow Attributes In Hyperlinks' settings and configure the hyperlinks in the content by:
1. If you are using html block (built-in composer) configure it as: https://www.screencast.com/t/QilyXezRAS
2. If you are using JCE editor: https://www.screencast.com/t/nc5OQQrOb
3. If you are using link block : https://www.screencast.com/t/Tyxr5RiaYdBe

Hi Calvin,

As you've change the setting 'Insert No-follow Attributes In Hyperlinks' it will effect the links globally and not depending on the time when you've created the links. Or perhaps you can use link block where it has it own no follow/follow functionality https://www.screencast.com/t/0uuf6Q1Rc

I'm very happy wth easy blog except for this key thing. It's one of the ways I need to monetise my site so I can keep things going including your subscriptions...so I am expressing a very strong desire to be able to take control over links, I do need control over every link. I thought I had fixed this with a html block but you are also globally adding no follow to that. Clients get very annoyed to find links agreed to be follow that become nofollow and it also reports bad in the seo tools which look at the types of backlinks. I need the world to see that style-review does allow follow links. I would love for you to be able to tell me how this might be a future resolved thing...

I guess I wish this setting didn't exist now as turning it off will now give a lot of links follow by default. So I have to go back through a lot of links manually but thanks.
I think links should not be automated like this. IMO.
