Newbie here (sorry).
Can someone please clarify what is meant by "Auto Lock new post" in EasyDiscuss -> Settings -> General -> Composing.
The description of it is a little vague, and I haven't found anything in the documentation.
If I understand it correctly, having it enabled means that a new post is locked right after it is submitted? That seems rather odd.
Some enlightenment would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Hi David,

If you enable the 'Auto Lock new post' setting, only new posts will be auto locked. If it's disabled, both new and old posts can be autolocked.
having it enabled means that a new post is locked right after it is submitted?
New posts does not auto lock right after it's submitted. It actually depends on the 'days to lock' setting below the first setting. If you set them to 0, auto lock is disabled completely.

Also, auto lock activity can only be triggered when a cronjob executes. So you would need to set up cronjob for the feature to work.
