Can we get the system to stop appending -1 to the end of every new permalink?

We would love to not have the EasyBlog permalinks have -1 at the end of them by default. Is there a setting for that?

We are using Installed Version: 5.0.32
Hello Sean,

The permalink will append -1 when that particular permalink has been used in your site. This is to prevent duplicated permalink.

That seems like a good idea. However, we have had this happen when we are trying to save the post we are working on. ie. save it again after making some edits. Anyhow, we then just have to keep a close eye on it to not save those urls.
