Can we disable the timeline/News Feed in easysocial (on the users profile)? Or can we control which user is allowed to use that? We have some users who are using this as SPAM feature and we are looking into a solution currently.
Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

You can add this "stream permission" custom field into your event categories from backend, you can check my screenshot : http://take.ms/1bKxO

Once you added this, event creator can able to set their event whether they want to allow them to submit story post in the event.

Hope this will help.

Hi there,

Yes you can by going to Backend>Components>EasySocial>Profile Types>*type of profile type>ACL>Story and disable 'Post Story In Dashboard' as shown http://take.ms/aAFax. Please advice.

Ah ok I see. That´s possible for the users dashboard. But what about others for example the event? How can I prevent that a user is posting something there?
