Currently Easyblog is not showing pending entries, just published ones and drafts. How about showing also which are pending?
Noted, we'll consider this for 4.0

Hello,

Hm, not too sure which "pending" state are you referring to but do you mean blog posts that were submitted for review? We actually do not display them on purpose so that it goes through a proper workflow

Hey Mark

Yes, blog posts that were submitted for review. Yes I know they should not be displayed on "Entries" neither on "Drafts" but I am missing here a tab that says "Pending Review" were you can see all the posts that you've sent and that are pending review.

Today I have an issue with a user, who did not know if his post was actually submitted, because he could not find it anywhere on his dashboard. This is the reason I think they should be shown somewhere in the state "pending review"

This is the same behavior you get on Ads platforms like Google or Facebook, were your ads are in state "pending review"

Hello,

So sorry for the delay in getting back to you. The user who submits the pending post can't see their own posts. Only the Moderators/Super Users can see it.

Thanks!

This is a really useful suggestion you should consider for the next EB version!

Hello,

So sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Ah sorry for the mistake I was a little too hasty. There is a way to only view the posts. Though they cannot edit the posts. You can do it here

http://screencast.com/t/WpVk8kDi0

This selection is not available in the toolbar. Hope this helps.

Thanks!

Hello Adelene!

As a normal registered user, those options are not visible.

I want a normal registered user, who contributed with a blog post which is pending review, to know which of his posts are still pending review. This is useful information for users who contribute with a lot of content, to know which posts are still being reviewed.

Please give a way to do this and consider it a suggestions for next Easy Blog version!

Thank you

Hello,

Hm, yeah you are right but the problem is we do not want the allow the user to make any edits when it's in the review process. We'll see what we can do in the next version.

My users had the same complaint. I wrote it up the problem in detail to Arlex Wong at Stack ideas, and never heard back anything. The current situation is a really bad user experience. It leads to users thinking things are lost, and trying to re-trype and resubmit them.

To Repeat, Our authors are using the dashboard as their "home page after login". I just tell them to hit the speedometer icon on the dashboard to return them to their home base as an author. Everything they need is there EXCEPT a way to see that the posts they submit for review haven't vanished into oblivion.

In the screenshot above they see their drafts. They see their posts, and the unpublished posts of other authors. They do not see their posts submitted for Moderation. They seem lost. It's two additional page fetches to go out to the main public home location, then a hidden option under the settings icon to see that they have anything under review. Then it's back to a dashboard view that is obviously supported, but just not addressable from the dashboard icons. I'm just asking if there is a way to have the "being moderated" view show up in the dashboard "home base" view.

Is that possible?

Thanks for taking the time to read this. I'm anxious to hear your response.

Hello Gordon,

So sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Thanks for your feedback. Could you send us your inline images again, they are broken here and I can't view them. Please advice.

Thanks!
